· Before booking on this trip we recommend that you read the ‘Safety’ section in the Essential Trip Information regarding special safety considerations for Egypt trips.
· Travelling on a felucca (traditional wooden boat) is awesome, but it's not for everyone. You will be sharing a sleeping area with your fellow group members for the night and a shared bathroom facility. You'll sleep outside under the stars on a simple mattress, with some bedding provided. If you do feel the cold, you should consider bringing a sleeping bag.
· The walkways around many Egyptian ruins can be uneven, dusty and rocky, so be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes. At large sites such as Valley of the Kings, you can also expect to be walking in the elements for most of the day, so sun adequate sun protection is essential.
· Some hotels in Egypt may not have lifts. You may need to climb stairs with your luggage to reach your hotel room for the night.
· Temperatures in Egypt can be extreme, ranging from very hot to very cold, depending on the season – it can even snow in some places! Layers will come in handy for sun protection as well as warmth.

A Nile Felucca Cruise from Assuan to Luxor
Take a Cruise from Aswan to Luxor and a sailing excursion on a felucca boat to visit world-famous monuments and deserted islands.
During the first three days you will explore the high dam and granite quarries and take the boat to the temple of Philae. You also sail around Kitchener Island on a felucca on the Nile and visit the famous botanical gardens.
You will surely enjoy the Kom Ombo and Horus Temple in Edfu as the temple of Luxor and Karnak. You will also visit the King and Queens Valley, and the colossus of Memnon.

- Aswan Dam

DAY 4: SAIL TO DARAW
Morning after breakfast we'll sail along the Nile toward Daraw
Day 4: SAIL to KOM OMBO
Morning after breakfast we'll sail along the Nile, arriving at the Kom Ombo Temple, one of the images of Egypt which will stay with you for life.

Day 5: sail to EDFU
Morning after breakfast we'll sail along the Nile towards Edfu to visit Horus Temple
Day 6: Sail to Luxor
We will then continue sailing towards Esna, where we'll cross the famous floodgate.
Having arrived at the majestic city of Luxor (the ancient Thebes, once the capital)
Here we transfer from sail boat to our Aswan Nubian House.
Day 7: LUXOR EAST BANK TOUR Karnak (temple) Luxor (Temple)
After breakfast, enjoy visiting the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple.
DAY 8: LUXOR WEST BANK TOUR Valley of the Kings/Queens Memnon Colossi
After breakfast, around 6:30 am we'll hit the road towards the giant necropoles nearby.
we'll visit the Valley of the Kings (3 of the open tombs will be visited),
Queen Hatshepsut Temple(dedicated to the only woman to rule over Egypt for an extended period of time) and
the Colossi of Memnon (two giant statues in homage to the Pharoah Amenhotep III)
